Allisyn Snyder (“So Random”) dirigerà Howdy, Neighbor!, horror queer con protagonisti celebri volti Disney Channel. Parola di Variety. Il film, scritto da Matthew Scott Montgomery, sarà “screenlife”, in stile Unfriended, ovvero con l’intera messa in scena rappresentata su uno schermo del computer.
Protagonisti lo stesso Matthew Scott Montgomery, visto in “So Random!”, Debby Ryan (“Jessie,” “The Suite Life on Deck”), Alyson Stoner (“Camp Rock,” “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody,”), Kevin Chamberlin (“Jessie”), Tim Bagley (“Shake It Up!,” “Raven’s Home,”), Shayne Topp (“So Random!”) e Damien Haas (“So Random!”).
Montgomery interpreterà Benjamin, un giovane attore queer che vive a West Hollywood e che un tempo era un famoso bambino prodigio. Quando il nuovo vicino Chase (Grant Jordon) si presenta come suo fan, Benjamin inizia a indagare sull’uomo, che a lui appare stranamente familiare, insieme alla sua migliore amica Harley (Ryan).
Disney non c’entra niente con questo horror queer, che fa rumore per il cast quasi del tutto made in Disney Channel. La Footage Productions, fondata da Allisyn e Dylan Snyder, finanzierà la pellicola.
